I believe besides noticing your thoughts is the awareness of what you are feeling, be happy you are joyful, joyful you are happy, tickle, tickle. Then, if you feel sad, angry or lost, notice it, and switch on your gps (god processing system) and reach for a less sad, less angry, more grateful thought...one thought at a time till you climb onto the joyful/happy swing. Emotion follows thought...direct the emotions with our thoughts...you are free when you practice this....cheers, love and joy! Jane.
